Every year on October 29th landmarks and public buildings across Canada are lit purple in recognition of Rett Syndrome Awareness Month. While it started with only a few locations in Ontario a fews years ago, it has expanded across the country to #LightCanadaPurple. See the list and map below for the locations participating this year.
We encourage you to light your own home or business purple as well this month! We have developed a flyer you can print out to share with your neighbours:
Starting this year, we have distributed lawn signs across the province. If you ordered a lawn sign in September, remember to put it up this month and send us a picture with hashtag #ORSAStrong.

Our signature fundraising event, Run4Rett, is being held virtually again this year due to COVID-19. This is a great opportunity to get out in your own community raising awareness for Rett syndrome and funds to support O.R.S.A.’s mission.
