POND stands for the Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Network. We are proud to announce that Rett syndrome has been added to the conditions involved in this network. This is an opportunity for families who have a child with Rett syndrome to participate in a new research program. Researchers think that the knowledge gained from this project may eventually lead to better ways to help children with Rett Syndrome and other Neurodevelopmental Disorders achieve their full potential and enjoy the highest quality of life. O.R.S.A wants to share that there are two sites that families will be seen at: Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab Hospital and the Lawson Health Research Institute in London. Once again, O.R.S.A. is proud to provide assistance to the POND Network in reaching out to families. Collaboration across the sector is so important and valuable.
