The Ontario Rett Syndrome Association is very proud of our financial stability.  Here are a few highlights from our 2015 Audited Financial Statements.

  • Since 2010, there has been a 113% increase in O.R.S.A. revenue.  This is a result of a significant increase in Fundraising & Contribution Income.
  • In 2015, O.R.S.A. was able to raise 10 times the Fundraising Income for every $1 in Fundraising Expenses and it was the highest amount of revenue raised in Fundraising in O.R.S.A.’s 25 year history.
  • O.R.S.A. is a volunteer Board of Directors and will always incur Administration Expenses, however, in 2015 we were able to give back 68% of expenses to the families by providing funding for Regional Clinics, Conferences and Workshops and various Educational and Service information including the launch of the Canadian Rett Syndrome Registry.
  • In 2015, O.R.S.A. was able to reduce our administration costs by 15%, while providing our members with conferences, workshops and the Canadian Rett Syndrome Registry.
